Job Summary
Galleria Tours FZCO is looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager – Travel & Tourism to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be a Russian speaker with strong business development experience, sales skills, and good knowledge of the travel and tourism industry.
The role focuses on developing B2B partnerships, opening new business opportunities, and growing the company’s presence in Russian-speaking, CIS, and international travel markets. The candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, DMCs, hotels, suppliers, and tourism partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the company’s travel and tourism business.
- Identify and approach new B2B clients, including Russian-speaking travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs, corporate clients, groups, and overseas partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international tourism partners.
- Generate new leads and convert them into long-term business accounts.
- Promote Galleria Tours’ services, including UAE packages, hotel bookings, transfers, tours, attractions, desert safari, yacht, dhow cruise, group travel, MICE, and customized itineraries.
- Develop partnerships with overseas travel agencies to increase inbound tourism to the UAE.
- Create business opportunities for outbound travel packages for UAE-based clients.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, partnership offers, and commercial presentations.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and commercial terms with clients, suppliers, and business partners.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth handling of confirmed bookings and client requirements.
- Monitor Russian-speaking and CIS market trends, competitor activities, customer feedback, and new tourism opportunities.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, trade shows, hotel meetings, and tourism-related events when required.
- Maintain an updated database of leads, clients, suppliers, and business opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.
- Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and business development plans for management.
- Represent Galleria Tours professionally in all meetings and communications.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in Russian and English.
- Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, travel agency, tour operator, DMC, hotel sales, or tourism-related sales.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai and UAE tourism products, attractions, hotels, transfers, and travel packages.
- Existing network with Russian-speaking / CIS travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, hotels, or tourism partners is a strong advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to generate leads, close deals, and build long-term business relationships.
- Target-oriented, proactive, and commercially driven.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of business growth.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, CRM, and online booking tools.
- UAE experience is preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Russian speaker with strong travel and tourism industry knowledge.
- Confident in approaching decision-makers and building strategic partnerships.
- Able to bring new accounts and develop business from scratch.
- Strong understanding of B2B travel agency partnerships and group travel business.
- Professional, organized, persuasive, and result-oriented.
- Experience in inbound tourism to the UAE is highly preferred.
