Operations Manager

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Operations Manager with 3–5 years of experience in the stainless steel, architectural metal, and glass industry. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires strong coordination between production, procurement, site teams, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily operational activities across fabrication, production, and site installation.
• Coordinate with the design, estimation, procurement, production, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of fabrication and installation works.
• Supervise factory operations, workforce allocation, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate material procurement and monitor inventory levels to avoid project delays.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and resolve operational issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.
• Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize material wastage.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding project progress and operational requirements.
• Manage subcontractors and installation teams to ensure work is completed according to project specifications.
• Resolve operational challenges and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure all documentation, work permits, and project records are properly maintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations management within the stainless steel, architectural metal, or glass industry.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, metal works, stainless steel, aluminium, and glass installation.
• Experience managing factory production and site operations simultaneously.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and architectural plans.
• Good understanding of project planning and scheduling.
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of architectural metal fabrication, balustrades, handrails, canopies, curtain walls, glass partitions, and stainless steel works.
• Experience with project coordination and resource planning.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Pay: AED33.52 - AED171.14 per month
