Architectural Metal Fabricator / Aluminium & Stainless Steel Technician

We are looking for a skilled Architectural Metal Fabricator / Aluminium & Stainless Steel Technician with 3–5 years of experience in the fabrication and installation of architectural metal, stainless steel, aluminium, and glass products. The ideal candidate should be experienced in reading fabrication drawings, operating workshop machinery, and producing high-quality architectural metal works for commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble architectural stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, and glass support systems according to approved shop drawings.
• Manufacture and install handrails, balustrades, staircases, canopies, pergolas, gates, fences, louvers, decorative metal works, glass partitions, shower enclosures, and structural glass fittings.
• Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, welding, polishing, bending, and assembly of metal components.
• Fabricate aluminium doors, windows, curtain walls, skylights, shopfronts, and other aluminium systems.
• Install architectural glass, stainless steel accessories, spider fittings, patch fittings, and aluminium framing systems.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, technical specifications, and cutting lists.
• Operate fabrication equipment including cutting machines, drilling machines, grinders, polishing machines, bending machines, welding equipment, and hand tools.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and maintain high-quality workmanship during fabrication and installation.
• Perform onsite installation, adjustments, repairs, and maintenance when required.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and project teams to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Report material shortages, equipment issues, and fabrication challenges to the supervisor.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in architectural metal fabrication, aluminium fabrication, stainless steel fabrication, and glass installation.
• Strong experience in TIG, MIG, and Arc welding for stainless steel and mild steel.
• Experience in aluminium fabrication including doors, windows, curtain walls, and glazing systems.
• Knowledge of architectural stainless steel fabrication and finishing.
• Ability to read and understand fabrication/shop drawings.
• Experience in measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing architectural metal products.
• Familiarity with glass fixing systems, patch fittings, spider fittings, and structural glazing.
• Good knowledge of workshop tools, fabrication machinery, and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness and willingness to work on-site when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in architectural metal works for commercial buildings, villas, hotels, and high-rise projects.
• Knowledge of polishing, mirror finish, hairline finish, and brushed stainless steel finishes.
• Experience with aluminium systems such as Gulf Extrusions, Technal, Reynaers, Schüco, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of site measurements and installation procedures.
• Understanding of workplace safety and quality standards.

Pay: AED1,395.25 - AED7,884.33 per month
