MEP Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified MEP Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sales, estimation, authority approvals, project execution, and site supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, Firefighting, and Fire Alarm systems. The candidate shall have a thorough understanding of UAE authority requirements and be capable of managing projects from first stage through final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, developers, and key stakeholders to generate repeat business and new project opportunities.
• Follow up on inquiries, submitted quotations, and tenders to maximize project award opportunities.
• Conduct client meetings, project presentations, and technical discussions to promote the company's services and capabilities.
• Prepare estimations, BOQs, cost analysis, and quotations for MEP projects based on tender documents, drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
• Review MEP design drawings, technical specifications, and calculations to ensure compliance with project requirements, local authority regulations, and applicable standards.
• Prepare and submit technical documentation, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and authority approval documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan, execute, supervise, and monitor site installation works for HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Electrical, Low Current, Firefighting, and Fire Alarm systems.
• Conduct site surveys, technical evaluations, quantity take-offs, and project assessments as required.
• Ensure materials, workmanship, and installation methods comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, productivity, and schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate procurement activities, material selection, vendor evaluations, and supplier negotiations.
• Attend project coordination meetings and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Prepare progress reports, as-built drawings, testing and commissioning reports, operation manuals, and project handover documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and authority approvals until project completion.
• Support maintenance activities and provide technical assistance to project and service teams when required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in MEP projects, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical coordination, Firefighting, and Fire Alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, and other local authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MEP design/estimation software.
• Excellent communication, technical coordination, documentation, and site supervision skills.
• Strong understanding of project estimation, execution, testing, commissioning, and project close-out procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Valid UAE driving license required.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
