About The Team You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the labour planning strategy across all UAE warehouse operations, ensuring optimal deployment of manpower to meet operational demand while minimizing cost.
- Develop and continuously enhance AI-driven labour planning tools to optimize workforce allocation, scheduling, productivity, and operational performance.
- Design and maintain manpower planning models capable of managing complex warehouse operations consisting of 30+ operational roles and multiple cross-training requirements.
- Analyse operational performance to identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, labour waste, idle hours, and productivity improvement opportunities.
- Develop strategies to balance labour capacity across multiple warehouse locations while maintaining service levels and minimizing overtime and operational cost.
- Create forecasting models based on business demand, seasonality, order profiles, and operational trends to support accurate workforce planning.
- Establish labour standards and productivity benchmarks, ensuring manpower plans are aligned with operational targets and customer requirements.
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and real-time decision-support models that provide visibility into labour utilisation, productivity, capacity, and operational performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on labour optimisation, process efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence using Lean methodologies.
- Partner closely with Operations, Finance, HR, and Engineering teams to develop long-term workforce strategies, hiring plans, and operational improvement roadmaps.
- Lead strategic projects focused on automation, AI adoption, and digital transformation of workforce planning processes.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership through data analysis, scenario modelling, and business case development to support strategic decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Engineering, Compu
