E-Commerce Manager
JM Foods
Description
JM Foods is launching a new e-commerce store, bringing gourmet, grocery, and specialty food products directly to customers across the country and region. And, we are looking for an exciting talent to help launch the store, run it day to day, and grow it commercially.
This is a hands-on business-building role; not a purely website, marketing or coordination role. You will help turn the store into a reliable, growing direct-to-consumer business.
What you will own
- Store launch: Ensure products, pricing, inventory, payments, delivery settings, policies and customer journeys are ready for launch.
- Daily trading: Manage product listings, collections, offers, promotions, bundles, merchandising and stock availability.
- Commercial growth: Drive sales through stronger conversion, customer acquisition, basket size, repeat purchase, seasonal campaigns and retention initiatives.
- Customer experience: Work closely with warehouse, logistics and customer service teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery and issue resolution.
- Performance improvement: Track sales, conversion, average order value, repeat purchase, cancellations, refunds and customer feedback—and turn insights into action.
- Store development: Coordinate with marketing, developers and external partners on campaigns, fixes, improvements and new features.
Who we need
We are looking for an e-commerce operator with strong commercial instincts - someone who has taken real ownership of an online store and understands that growth comes from getting the fundamentals right: product range, pricing, merchandising, acquisition, conversion, fulfilment and repeat purchase.
You should have
- Hands-on experience managing a Shopify or comparable direct-to-consumer e-commerce store.
- A demonstrable track record of either launching an online store or materially improving its sales, conversion, customer retention or operating performance.
- The ability to move comfortably between commercial and operational work; from reviewing sales data and planning offers to resolving stock, fulfilment or customer-experience issues.
- Good judgment, attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership, make decisions and follow through.
- Experience in UAE e-commerce, grocery, food, FMCG or a fast-moving consumer business would be valuable, but is not essential.
Salary and Performance Upside
Indicative salary range: AED 10,000–17,500 per month, depending on experience and fit. For an exceptional candidate with a proven record of launching or scaling a comparable e-commerce or direct-to-consumer business, we are open to considering a package above this range. The role will also include a performance-linked incentive, based on agreed commercial and operational outcomes following successful completion of probation.
