We are currently looking for an experienced, highly organized, and results-driven Project Manager – Events & Exhibitions to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing exhibition stands, event activations, custom-built structures, and turnkey projects from concept through completion while ensuring successful delivery in terms of quality, timeline, budget, and client satisfaction.
Job Purpose
- Responsible for managing end-to-end exhibition and event projects, ensuring seamless coordination between Sales, Design, Estimation, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Warehouse, and Site Teams.
- Lead project execution from design approval through fabrication, installation, event operations, dismantling, and final project handover while maintaining operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage exhibition, event, and activation projects from project award through final handover.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal project teams.
- Coordinate with Sales, Design, Estimation, Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Warehouse teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation schedules.
- Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and production requirements before execution.
- Monitor fabrication progress and ensure production milestones are achieved.
- Coordinate material procurement and supplier deliveries to meet project deadlines.
- Manage site installation, event setup, dismantling, and project closeout activities.
- Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress updates to clients and management.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and profitability.
- Handle client variations, change requests, and additional scope requirements.
- Ensure compliance with venue regulations, client requirements, and company quality standards.
- Coordinate authority approvals, venue permits, and site access requirements where applicable.
- Identify project risks, delays, and operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Supervise subcontractors, installers, and site teams to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery.
- Ensure all projects meet health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, snag lists, and final handover documents.
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of UAE experience in Project Management.
- Mandatory experience in Exhibitions, Events, Activations, Custom Build Stands, Interior Fit-Out, or Design & Build Projects.
- Strong knowledge of exhibition production, fabrication, logistics, installation, and dismantling processes.
- Experience working with major exhibition venues such as Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), ADNEC, Expo City Dubai, and other UAE venues is highly preferred.
- PMP certification is an advantage.
- Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
