About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with hands-on experience in the Cards Payments domain , specifically Card Issuing & Acquiring , along with strong expertise in the Way4 Card Management System . The ideal candidate should have experience in end-to-end testing of card payment applications, validating transaction flows, and ensuring high-quality delivery for banking and financial services projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of Card Issuing and Acquiring applications using the Way4 platform.
• Validate complete card lifecycle processes, including:
• Card issuance, activation, renewal, replacement
• Card blocking/unblocking
• PIN generation, PIN change, and PIN validation
• Test authorization, clearing, and settlement processes.
• Validate transaction fees, spending limits, billing cycles, and interest calculations.
• Execute testing for POS, ATM, and E-commerce transactions.
• Validate transaction types such as purchase, refund, reversal, cash withdrawal, and balance inquiry.
• Test integrations with card networks including Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay .
• Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute SIT, UAT, Regression, and Functional Testing.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or ALM .
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product teams to ensure timely defect resolution.

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of Software Testing experience.
• Strong experience in Cards Issuing & Acquiring .
• Hands-on experience with the Way4 Card Management System .
• Good understanding of Authorization, Clearing & Settlement processes.
• Experience testing POS, ATM, and E-commerce payment transactions.
• Knowledge of card networks such as Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay.
• Experience in SIT, UAT, Regression, and Functional Testing.
• Experience using JIRA or ALM for defect management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging is an added advantage.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
