Sales & Proposal Engineer– Electrical & E-House Solutions

Location: UAE, Dubai

Experience Required: 15+ years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a senior-level professional with extensive experience in Electrical Power Distribution Systems and E-House solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong techno-commercial background in project estimation, technical support, and sales for large-scale electrical projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing project estimates, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely and competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and bid/no-bid analyses.
  • Review RFQ documents, raise technical queries, and provide solutions as required.
  • Prepare competitive proposals for Transformers, NGR, RMU, Busduct, MV Panels, MV VFD, MV Soft Starters, LV Panels, AC/DC UPS, Explosion Proof Panels, and fully containerized or modular E-House solutions.
  • Coordinate with design, production, supply chain, project management, and order management teams for smooth workflow and competitive proposal submission.
  • Validate terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) in all offers.
  • Prepare spare lists, commissioning spares, training cost, and installation supervision cost.
  • Conduct technical evaluation of supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Standardize costing tools and techno-commercial offer templates.
  • Monitor and analyze tender outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the Quality Management System for estimation processes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to estimation team members.

Key Projects Handled:

Modular buildings, ducted HVAC, and fire suppression systems for Oil & Gas, Water Treatment Plants, Sewage Treatment Plants, Pumping Stations, Shopping Malls, Residential & Commercial Buildings, and Villas.

High-value projects for clients such as DNO (Iraq), PDO (Oman), ADNOC (UAE), OQ Exploration & Production (Oman), Chevron (Iraq), ZADCO (UAE), Dragon Oil, and Kuwait Energy (Iraq).

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of E-House, Container, and Modular Building solutions.
  • Expertise in Electrical Power Distribution Systems (MV & LV), HVAC, Fire Alarm & Suppression systems.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end estimation and proposal processes.
  • Strong supplier contacts and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent techno-commercial knowledge and negotiation skills.
  • Team management and operational excellence.
  • Market price analysis and value engineering.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Key Highlights / Achievements:

  • Over 15 years of experience in estimation, proposal, and tendering within UAE and international projects.
  • Successfully estimated and awarded several high-value prestigious projects.
  • Trained at OEM manufacturing units (Eaton-Netherlands) and experienced with products from Schneider, Eaton, ABB, and Siemens.
  • Developed standardized costing tools reducing preparation time by 75%.
