C++ Software Engineer — Low Latency / HFT (Mid-Level & Senior)

Platinum & Partners is retained by a well-established, high-performance proprietary trading firm — founded by alumni of some of the world's leading trading houses — to hire two C++ Software Engineers at mid and senior level.

The firm: A globally active quant/systematic prop desk with sophisticated, low-latency technology at the core of everything they do. Flat structure, elite engineering culture, and a team that operates at the highest levels of performance.

The roles: You'll be building new market link connectivity and driving latency reduction across mission-critical trading infrastructure. Work that sits at the heart of the firm's competitive edge — where your code has a direct commercial impact.

Mid-Level | 3–5 years | $120,000–$150,000 base + bonus

Senior | 6+ years | $150,000–$220,000 base + bonus

You must have:

✔ C++ experience gained at a hedge fund, prop trading firm or market maker — general tech backgrounds will not be considered

✔ Hands-on low-latency or HFT system experience

✔ Strong networking fundamentals (REST, WebSockets, ideally FIX)

✔ Based in Europe or the Middle East

Crypto experience is a strong plus but not essential — systematic/HFT pedigree is what matters.
