Procurement Engineer

Ethar Building Contracting LLC is seeking a full-time, on-site Procurement Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience (UAE construction experience preferred) to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for construction projects while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Review project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to identify material requirements.

* Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.

* Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

* Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and subcontract agreements.

* Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure timely procurement.

* Follow up on material deliveries and supplier performance.

* Maintain supplier database and procurement records.

* Monitor procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

* Ensure materials comply with project specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

* Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in the construction industry.

* UAE construction experience is preferred.

* Knowledge of construction materials and the UAE supplier network.

* Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement software.
