Role Description

• Build high-performance, responsive web applications using Next.js , delivering exceptional user experiences that align with Funky Souq's design and quality standards.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform creative concepts into intuitive, pixel-perfect, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Ensure consistent functionality and visual accuracy across all modern browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and scalability to provide a fast and seamless shopping experience.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end issues efficiently to maintain platform stability and reliability.
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices, proactively introducing improvements where appropriate.
• Develop accessible, standards-compliant interfaces that deliver an inclusive experience for all users.
• Implement and maintain CMS integrations to enable efficient content updates and ongoing platform enhancements.
• Test and validate interactive components, forms, and user flows to ensure functionality, accuracy, and a high-quality user experience.
• Partner closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and deliver scalable, maintainable, and well-architected solutions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
• Candidates should possess Web Development and Software Development skills for building, testing, and maintaining scalable e-commerce applications.
• Candidates should possess Responsive Web Design skills to ensure optimal user experiences across devices and screen sizes.
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development awareness sufficient to integrate APIs and collaborate effectively with backend engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, performance optimization, and best practices in SEO and accessibility is beneficial.
• Proficiency with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
