Electrical Engineer - Landscape & Infrastructure

Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer – Landscaping & Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and refurbishment of electrical systems for landscape and infrastructure projects, including landscape lighting, pumps, irrigation controls, pools, water features, and associated electrical works. The role ensures projects and maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards, contractual obligations, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, maintenance, and refurbishment of landscape lighting, pumps, irrigation control systems, pools, water features, bore wells, and related electrical infrastructure.
• Lead maintenance teams, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules while coordinating with Procurement, Finance, HR, and Logistics.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to contract specifications and local authority regulations.
• Review electrical drawings, technical submittals, and support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Monitor project progress, maintain maintenance records, prepare reports, and ensure timely invoicing and documentation.
• Train and supervise site teams, implement Health & Safety policies, and promote continuous improvement through new technologies and value engineering.
• Support business development activities by conducting site visits, assisting with estimations, and identifying new maintenance opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, landscape maintenance, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in landscape lighting, pumps, pool systems, irrigation controls, and external electrical works.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, electrical standards, and UAE local authority regulations.
• Strong planning, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
