Senior MEP Project Engineer - MEP Contractors only

Position -Senior MEP Project Engineer

Location - Dubai

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete MEP project execution for industrial and commercial projects.
• Develop MEP concepts and coordinate designs with architects and MEP consultants.
• Review and supervise Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and utility installations.
• Interpret and coordinate civil, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.
• Monitor project quality, safety, cost, and timelines.
• Review BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Conduct technical evaluations and participate in tendering and prequalification activities.
• Procure MEP equipment and materials from local and international suppliers.
• Identify critical machinery and ensure installation as per manufacturers' recommendations.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and government authorities for approvals.
• Administer contracts, negotiate with vendors and subcontractors, and resolve contractual issues.
• Handle project claims, disputes, and stakeholder management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and HSE requirements.
• Supervise maintenance activities for large commercial and industrial facilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 8–10 years of UAE experience in MEP construction projects with reputable contractors.
• Strong knowledge of:
• HVAC systems
• Plumbing and drainage
• Electrical systems
• Fire protection systems
• Industrial MEP installations
• Commissioning and testing
• BOQ preparation and tendering
• UAE construction regulations and authority approvals
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Pay: AED16,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
