Senior Engineer — Mechanical HVAC

We're not looking for someone to fill a seat. We're looking for the engineer who will own the division — technically, commercially, and operationally.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a leadership role disguised as an engineering role.

At ECOFAC, we work on complex mechanical and building services projects across Dubai and beyond. We're growing and we need the person who will build and lead the HVAC division from the ground up: the team, the clients, the technical standards, and the revenue.

Complex MEP, commissioning, and TAB work on premium construction projects in the UAE.

▸ Client-Facing Authority

You'll be the face of HVAC services to clients, consultants, and senior stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO — Day-to-day accountability

▸ Installation Oversight

Supervise mechanical system installations — enforcing compliance with design specs, blueprints, and UAE building codes on every site.

▸ Commissioning Leadership

Lead end-to-end commissioning protocols for mechanical and building services, validating performance against design criteria before client handover.

▸ TAB — Testing, Adjusting & Balancing

Execute specialized TAB work on air and hydronic systems to ensure operational efficiency, energy compliance, and design intent.

▸ Troubleshooting & Resolution

Diagnose and resolve technical deficiencies quickly during installation and commissioning phases in collaboration with site teams.

▸ Documentation & Reporting

Produce detailed installation reports, commissioning checklists, and final handover documents to client and consultant standards.

▸ Business Development & Client Relations

Build client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and represent ECOFAC's HVAC capabilities to prospects and senior stakeholders.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Non-negotiables — and what sets you apart

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

▸ 5+ years of hands-on field experience in TAB, CxA, installation oversight and mechanical building services — not office-based, not theoretical.

▸ Deep HVAC expertise: design understanding, installation, maintenance and TAB of air and hydronic systems.

▸ Valid UAE Driving License — MANDATORY.

You'll be mobile across Dubai and surrounding Emirates daily. No license = no interview.

▸ Excellent English verbal and written

You'll write formal reports and hold technical briefings with clients and consultants. Arabic is a valued asset.
