Estimator Exhibitions Fit-Out

We are currently looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially driven Estimator – Exhibitions & Interior Fit-Out to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender pricing for exhibition stands, interior fit-out, joinery, and custom fabrication projects while ensuring competitive pricing and project profitability.

Job Purpose

• Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), pricing proposals, and commercial submissions for exhibitions, interior fit-out, joinery, and custom fabrication projects.
• Work closely with the Sales, Design, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure all estimates are technically accurate, commercially competitive, and aligned with project requirements and company profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents in detail.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for exhibitions, interior fit-out, joinery, and custom fabrication projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Calculate material, labor, subcontractor, logistics, transportation, and installation costs.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Compare supplier quotations and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with Procurement to obtain updated material pricing and lead times.
• Work closely with the Design Team to understand project scope and technical requirements.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Identify value engineering opportunities without compromising quality or design intent.
• Review project scope and identify exclusions, assumptions, and commercial risks.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations to ensure estimates align with execution requirements.
• Maintain an updated cost database for materials, suppliers, labor, and subcontractors.
• Monitor market pricing trends and recommend pricing strategies.
• Assist in tender clarifications and post-tender negotiations when required.
• Prepare cost comparison reports and profitability analysis for management.
• Ensure all estimates are completed accurately and submitted within project deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–8 years of UAE experience as an Estimator.
• Strong experience in Exhibitions, Interior Fit-Out, Joinery, Events, or Design & Build industries is mandatory.
• Proven experience preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, commercial proposals, and tender submissions.
• Strong understanding of exhibition fabrication, joinery production, fit-out materials, finishes, and installation methods.
• Experience working with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors across the UAE.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
