Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer

We are looking for a strong Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer to join our team in Dubai.

This role is ideal for someone who can own AWS-first cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, and production reliability for a professional marketplace platform.

The right candidate should be comfortable supporting customer and provider mobile apps, admin and operations portals, backend services, distributed workflows, third-party integrations, payment flows, dispatch workflows, provider management, dashboards, databases, cache systems, scheduled jobs, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Own DevOps and SRE activities across AWS-first cloud infrastructure, deployments, environments, monitoring, and production operations

Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for backend services, web applications, workers, scheduled jobs, and platform components

Manage development, staging, pre-production, and production environments with clear deployment and rollback processes

Work closely with Engineering, QA, Product, Operations, and the Head of Engineering to support stable and secure releases

Implement monitoring, observability, alerting, logging, uptime checks, dashboards, and incident response processes

Support production readiness for payments, dispatch flows, provider workflows, notifications, integrations, scheduled jobs, and operational dashboards

Manage cloud services, servers, containers, databases, caches, secrets, certificates, domains, networking, access controls, and environment configuration

Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, backup processes, disaster recovery, deployment automation, and operational resilience

Investigate production issues, support root cause analysis, and drive practical reliability improvements

What We’re Looking For

6–9 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role

Strong hands-on experience managing production infrastructure on AWS, with openness to multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments

Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Linux, networking, load balancing, DNS, SSL, reverse proxies, and deployment automation

Strong understanding of distributed systems, monitoring, observability, logging, alerting, incident response, and production support

Experience with databases, backups, restore processes, Redis or cache systems, object storage, scheduled jobs, and environment configuration

Good understanding of infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools

Experience with secrets management, access controls, least privilege, patching, certificates, and security best practices

Ability to troubleshoot issues across applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs, integrations, databases, jobs, and network layers

Strong ownership mindset, calm incident handling, clear communication, and attention to operational detail
