QA/QC ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements in accordance with project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), identify root causes and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients and project teams to resolve quality-related issues and obtain necessary approvals.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support internal and external quality audits and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of construction experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and quality assurance/control procedures is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction quality standards, inspection processes and documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation practices.
