DRAFTSMAN / BIM MODELER

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings based on approved construction drawings and project specifications.
• Update and maintain accurate as-built drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate and clash-free.
• Develop and maintain Building Information Modeling (BIM) models using Revit and other BIM software.
• Revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and consultant comments.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, applicable codes, and client requirements.
• Assist in BIM coordination, clash detection, and model updates to support project execution.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings and BIM models.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Draftsman or BIM Modeler, preferably in the UAE construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination, clash detection, and industry standards is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
