About the Role

List of Responsibilities

The Associate Director forms part of the engineering team within the global structure of the company and assumes responsibilities that pro-actively contribute to the growth of Façade Engineering and specialist design and engineering team within the global structure of the Inhabit and Egis company structure.

The role assumes both KPI based and general responsibilities that actively contribute to project technical and commercial delivery, compliance, functional wellbeing, advancement and growth of facade discipline and all other specialist and general disciplines.

This includes responsibility for all design, engineering, documentation, administration and compliance with project constraints undertaken for façade and all other disciplines. You will lead, develop, and manage a team of approx. (5-10) direct reports. You may also need to fulfil any legal responsibilities commensurate with your position.

This includes responsibility for team engagement and growth, technical excellence, ethics, project leadership, design, engineering, documentation, administration and compliance with project constraints undertaken by the facade team. You will also need to fulfill legal responsibilities commensurate with your position.

Major Function

Duties include but not limited to:

• Represent Inhabit on projects with clients and provide technical leadership and assistance to ensure projects meet high quality standards and are managed in accordance with timeframes and budget parameters
• Conduct presentations of proposals for prospective clients and/or projects
• Create, build and maintain business opportunities
• Manage projects and resources to ensure professional services are achieved and deliver high quality focused services on projects to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
• Participate in a yearly management meeting to develop and contribute to strategic business planning and to set personal KPI’s relevant to your role
• Report to the Director on your performance and the performance of the team as directed
• Attend meetings with clients to manage projects according to Inhabits scope of services
• Provide training and mentoring to the team as the need arises always promoting inclusion and growth for all staff under your leadership
• Prepare project proposals including, where necessary, co-ordination of inputs from other disciplines and report these bids / wins / losses to the Director
• Maintain regular contact with existing or prospective clients for establishing potential future work
