Position: Sourcing Executive – Manpower Supply Company
Reports To: Division Manager
Role: Responsible for sourcing and screening manpower candidates, maintaining recruitment pipelines, coordinating hiring processes, and ensuring timely deployment of workers according to client requirements.
Job Purpose
A Sourcing Executive is responsible for finding, attracting, screening, and maintaining a pool of qualified candidates to meet client manpower requirements. The role ensures timely supply of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled workers according to job specifications, contracts, and deployment schedules.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
1. Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment
- Source candidates through job portals, recruitment networks, social media, databases, referrals, and field recruitment.
- Identify suitable candidates based on client requirements.
- Build and maintain a database of available manpower.
- Conduct initial interviews and shortlist candidates.
2. Client Requirement Handling
- Understand manpower requests from clients (job category, skills, experience, nationality, availability).
- Coordinate with recruitment/client relations teams to fulfill manpower demands.
- Ensure candidates match job descriptions and client expectations.
3. Screening & Documentation
- Verify candidate qualifications, experience, passports, IDs, certificates, and other documents.
- Conduct background checks where required.
- Ensure candidates meet visa, legal, and company requirements.
4. Recruitment Coordination
- Coordinate interviews, trade tests, medicals, and onboarding processes.
- Follow up with candidates until deployment.
- Maintain recruitment status reports.
5. Manpower Database Management
- Update candidate records and recruitment tracking systems.
- Maintain a ready pool of workers for urgent requirements.
- Track candidate availability and deployment history.
6. Market Research
- Monitor labor market availability and salary trends.
- Develop recruitment sources in different locations.
- Build relationships with agents, institutes, and worker communities.
Required Qualifications/Education
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in:
- Human Resources
- Business Administration
- Management
- Related field
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in:
- Recruitment
- Manpower supply
- Staffing agency
- HR operations
(Experience in overseas manpower recruitment is an advantage.)
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of:
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Recruitment software/HR systems
- Candidate database management
- Online recruitment platforms
