Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction activities are executed in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and client requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct inspections of ongoing construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant standards.
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Method Statements, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Monitor construction activities including swimming pools, waterproofing, tiling, concrete works, landscaping, MEP coordination, and finishing works.
• Review material submittals, technical data sheets, and product approvals before installation.
• Identify quality issues and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) until successful closure.
• Conduct internal quality inspections and site audits.
• Ensure testing activities are carried out as per project specifications and approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC records, inspection reports, test reports, and project documentation.
• Support project teams in resolving technical quality issues.
• Participate in project handover inspections, snagging, and final quality closeout.
• Ensure compliance with company quality policies and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in the UAE construction industry.
• Experience in swimming pool construction, waterproofing, landscaping, civil works, or finishing projects is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of QA/QC standards, inspection procedures, and construction quality management.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations and consultant inspection procedures is an advantage.
• Experience preparing QA/QC documentation including ITPs, Method Statements, IRs, MIRs, and NCRs.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Experience with document control systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
