About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, customer-oriented, and results-driven Travel Sales Agent to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements while delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about the travel industry, has strong sales abilities, and is committed to creating memorable travel experiences for every client.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with booking flights, hotels, holiday packages, visas, transportation, tours, travel insurance, and other travel-related services.
- Understand clients' travel needs, preferences, and budgets to recommend suitable travel packages and customized itineraries.
- Provide accurate information on destinations, travel requirements, visa regulations, airline policies, and travel advisories.
- Prepare quotations, process reservations, issue travel documents, and handle booking amendments, cancellations, and refunds.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Proactively promote travel packages, seasonal promotions, and value-added services to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and travel-related issues professionally while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about travel industry trends, airline updates, tourism regulations, and new destination offerings.
- Maintain accurate customer records, booking details, and sales reports in the company's systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers, airlines, hotels, and other travel partners to ensure smooth travel arrangements.
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets while maintaining service quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the travel and tourism industry, preferably in a sales or travel consultant role.
- Strong knowledge of international travel destinations, airline operations, visa requirements, and travel products.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and travel management software.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a customer-first mindset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, when business needs require.
