We're looking for a Backend Tech Lead who thrives on solving complex engineering problems, building scalable systems, and mentoring developers. If you enjoy designing clean architectures more than attending endless meetings, keep reading.
You'll be joining Byblos Vista, a fast-growing company building technology products for the U.S. market. You'll work directly with leadership, influence technical decisions, and help shape the future of our engineering team.
What You'll Do
• Lead backend architecture and technical direction across multiple products
• Build scalable APIs and distributed services
• Design clean, maintainable microservice architectures
• Optimize databases, caching, queues, and system performance
• Review code, mentor developers, and establish engineering best practices
• Collaborate with Product, AI, and Operations teams to deliver impactful solutions
• Drive technical innovation while maintaining high development standards
Tech Stack
• Node.js / TypeScript
• Express.js / NestJS
• PostgreSQL & MongoDB
• Redis
• BullMQ / Background Jobs
• Docker
• REST APIs & WebSockets

• AWS (or similar cloud platforms)
What We're Looking For
• 6+ years of backend development experience
• Proven experience leading technical teams or major projects
• Strong understanding of system design and scalable architectures
• Experience with microservices and API design
• Excellent database optimization skills
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Fluent English communication
