Lead Engineering - Digital Channels

This position is responsible for driving the design, delivery and continuous evolution of digital banking platforms (mobile, web, APIs). This role blends technical leadership, delivery ownership, and organizational excellence, ensuring high-performing teams, vendor partnerships and exceptional customer-facing digital experiences.

Would be part of Digital Channels unit within COO Office of the Bank.

Experience:

• 10+ years’ experience building and scaling digital products in banking or fintech environments
• Strong experience across onboarding, payments & transfers and services, banking, cards, digital channels, onboarding, BPM, and payments ecosystems
• Proven track record leading engineering teams delivering complex, large-scale platforms
• Deep experience working in Agile, product-centric environments with cross-functional squads
• Hands-on exposure to leading-edge technologies in mobile and web development.
• Proven experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing software engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and platform engineering.
• Strong execution leadership with the ability to deliver complex technical initiatives from strategy through production.
• Experience driving cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Security, and Operations.
• Data-driven decision making with a strong ownership mindset, balancing technical excellence, customer impact, and business outcomes
