Senior Presales Engineer – ELV Systems

Experience

8–10 years of relevant experience in designing and delivering end-to-end ELV solutions, preferably within the UAE/GCC market.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Presales Engineer – ELV Systems to lead the design, estimation, and technical proposal preparation for ELV and Security System projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in designing integrated ELV solutions, preparing techno-commercial proposals, and supporting the sales team throughout the bidding process.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently design complete ELV solutions and prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and technical proposals.
• Prepare technical submissions, compliance statements, and tender documentation based on project specifications and client requirements.
• Review and interpret tender documents, specifications, AutoCAD drawings, and project requirements to develop accurate technical solutions.
• Conduct site surveys to gather project requirements and recommend suitable system designs.
• Present technical solutions to clients, consultants, and end users during meetings and technical discussions.
• Prepare system architecture, network topology, equipment layouts, and schematic diagrams.
• Coordinate with OEMs, manufacturers, and suppliers to obtain technical support, product selections, and competitive commercial offers.
• Evaluate products and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions based on project requirements, applicable standards, and budget.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and standards including SIRA, MCC, Civil Defense, and other relevant authorities.
• Support the sales team during customer meetings, technical clarifications, and tender negotiations.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and new products in the ELV and Physical Security domain.

• Public Address (PA) & Background Music (BGM) Systems
• Audio Visual (AV) Systems
• IP PABX & Unified Communication Systems
• Wireless Network Solutions
• Lighting Control Systems
• Central Battery Systems
• Panic Alarm Systems
• Intrusion Detection Systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of proven experience in ELV presales, system design, and estimation.
• Excellent understanding of ELV design standards, authority requirements, and industry best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE Driving License.
• SIRA Certification.
• MCC and other relevant UAE authority certifications.
• Manufacturer certifications from leading ELV and Security solution providers (such as Milestone, Genetec, Pelco, Bosch, Honeywell, Hikvision, Axis, Hanwha Vision, CommScope, Panduit, Cisco, Aruba, Avaya, etc.).
• Experience working with consultants, government entities, and large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects within the UAE.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
