Safety Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Engineer (Civil) to ensure a safe working environment across our construction sites in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management within the civil construction sector in the UAE. A valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage due to site mobility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and local regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety training, and induction programs for workers and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to enforce safe work practices.
• Maintain HSE documentation including permits, inspection reports, and safety records.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and continuously improve site safety performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of safety-related experience in the UAE construction industry.
• Certification in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or other recognized HSE training is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and best practices in civil construction.
• Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
• Strong leadership and ability to enforce safety standards at all levels.
• UAE Driving License is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with safety reporting software and Microsoft Office tools.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
