MEP Procurement Manager (7–10 Years UAE/GCC Experience)

We are a leading MEP contracting company in Dubai seeking an experienced and results-oriented MEP Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for MEP materials, equipment and subcontract packages, ensuring timely procurement, cost optimization and compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

The role requires strong expertise in MEP procurement within the UAE/GCC construction sector, with proven ability to manage vendor relationships, lead negotiations, and coordinate effectively with project, engineering, planning, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement of MEP materials, equipment and subcontract packages for multiple projects.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and cost objectives.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure optimal technical and commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate with project, engineering and planning teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and procurement budgets.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparisons, purchase orders and procurement reports.
• Maintain and develop a strong vendor base, ensuring compliance with approved vendor lists and company standards.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with contractual obligations, project specifications and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7–10 years of UAE/GCC experience as an MEP Procurement Manager with a reputable MEP contracting company.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical and ELV works.
• Proven experience in procurement planning, vendor management and subcontract administration for large-scale MEP projects.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE supplier market and procurement practices.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/procurement software.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines.
• Candidates who can join immediately or on short notice will be given preference.

Compensation: AED 15,000 – 20,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications, experience and demonstrated capabilities.
