Senior Estimation Engineer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer / Senior Estimation Engineer for a leading construction and modular building organization in the UAE.

This role involves end-to-end responsibility for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tender proposals for complex Civil, Structural, and MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
• Lead preparation and submission of technical and commercial tender proposals.
• Analyze project requirements, identify risks, and develop pricing strategies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure accurate scope interpretation.
• Obtain, evaluate, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Participate in site visits, tender clarifications, and pre-contract discussions.
• Ensure all estimates comply with company procedures, quality standards, and approval processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and estimation backup for audit and review purposes. Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in estimation, tendering, pre-contracts, or cost engineering.
• Strong experience in preparing bids for large-scale construction projects.
• Good knowledge of Civil, Structural, and MEP systems.
• Experience in modular or offsite construction is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM tools, ERP systems, tendering software, and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations including Civil Defense, DM, DEWA, ASHRAE, and Green Building standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Profile:

• Candidates with experience in modular construction, prefab systems, industrial projects, or integrated MEP and civil estimation will be highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines with high accuracy. About the company
