Electrical Engineer (Luxury Residential Projects)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, specializing in luxury residential projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both electrical design and site supervision, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality standards while meeting local authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate electrical design documentation, including:
• Lighting layouts
• Power layouts
• Load schedules
• Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• Distribution Board (DB) schedules
• ELV system drawings
• Other related technical documentation
• Review and approve contractors’ shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, structural, and interior design teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project integration.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, local authority requirements, and applicable electrical codes.
• Support testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Attend progress meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including inspection reports, progress updates, and technical approvals.
• Utilize Revit for electrical design coordination, model review, and project documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical design and site supervision.
• Experience working on luxury residential projects is preferred.
• Dubai Municipality (DM) Certified / Dubai Municipality Approved is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building systems, Dubai Municipality requirements, local authority regulations, and relevant international codes.
• Proven experience reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, and design documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit for electrical coordination and documentation is preferred.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
