Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead market development, client relationship management, and sales execution for our rail transit business across the GCC and Southeast Asian markets. Based permanently in Dubai, this role carries full ownership of regional sales strategy, key account management, project bidding and negotiation, and the performance of the local sales team. The successful candidate will work closely with the company's China headquarters to align regional execution with global business objectives, and will play a central role in expanding the company's market share and brand presence in the target regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of market development, client acquisition, and client relationship management for the rail transit sector across GCC countries and Southeast Asia; lead the team to achieve annual and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, regulatory developments, competitor activity, and customer needs in target markets; develop regional sales strategies, market expansion plans, and team sales target breakdowns.
  • Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with core stakeholders in the rail transit value chain, including project owners, general contractors, design institutes, and agents; lead business engagement on major projects.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of overseas project bidding, commercial negotiation, and contract drafting and signing, with strict control over project risk and profit margins.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the sales team, including work guidance, performance evaluation, and capability development; standardize sales processes to improve overall team performance.
  • Oversee commercial coordination throughout the full project lifecycle, working with internal technical and supply chain teams to resolve client needs efficiently and keep projects on track.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, market analysis, and project progress updates for senior management, highlighting regional performance, market dynamics, and risk factors.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, technical conferences, and brand promotion events to strengthen market presence and industry influence in the target regions.
  • Participate in onboarding and periodic business training at the company's China headquarters as required.
  • Carry out other overseas sales and team management duties as assigned by senior management.

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in overseas market sales within the rail transit industry, including at least 1 year of experience managing a sales team. Prior experience developing and managing client relationships in the GCC and/or Southeast Asian markets is strongly preferred.

  • Strong track record in overseas market development, commercial negotiation, and key account management.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a sales team, including target-setting and execution oversight.
  • Solid understanding of bidding procedures, commercial practices, and contract management standards for overseas rail transit projects.
  • Strong market insight, analytical capability, and risk assessment skills, with the ability to independently design and implement regional sales strategy.
  • High level of self-motivation, goal orientation, and resilience suited to the pace of overseas market development.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication and coordination skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and partners across different countries.
  • Strong report-writing and presentation skills, able to communicate sales progress and market insights clearly to senior management.

Industry Background
