Production & Planning Engineer – Steel Fabrication

We are looking for an experienced Production & Planning Engineer to manage the complete production cycle of structural steel fabrication, from approved drawings through fabrication, dispatch, and delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong planning, coordination, and production monitoring experience in a steel fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and release approved fabrication/shop drawings for production.
• Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Stores, QA/QC, and Production teams.
• Monitor fabrication progress and resolve production bottlenecks.
• Ensure material availability and production as per project schedule.
• Coordinate inspections, packing, dispatch, and delivery activities.
• Prepare production, material, and dispatch reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Production Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in structural steel fabrication or PEB industry.
• Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, BOM, MTO, and production planning.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Tekla drawings, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
• Primavera P6 or MS Project knowledge is an added advantage.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
