Design Manager (Piling & Drilling)

Job Title: Design Manager – PDS Piling & Foundation Contracting LLC

Job Description:

PDS Piling & Foundation Contracting LLC is seeking a highly experienced Design Manager with 10+ years of experience in piling, foundation, and geotechnical engineering. The ideal candidate must be Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved and capable of leading the design and engineering functions for foundation and shoring projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of piling, shoring, excavation support, and foundation systems.
• Review and approve structural calculations, technical reports, shop drawings, and design submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely project delivery.
• Ensure all designs comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, project specifications, and applicable engineering standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering and design team.
• Review geotechnical investigation reports and develop efficient foundation solutions.
• Support tendering activities by preparing technical proposals, value engineering solutions, and design documentation.
• Monitor design schedules, manage project risks, and ensure the quality and accuracy of all engineering deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in piling, foundation, geotechnical, or civil engineering projects.
• Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved Design Manager (mandatory).
• Strong expertise in deep foundations, shoring systems, retaining structures, and ground engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
