MEP Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Engineer with GCC experience in the construction/contracting industry. The ideal candidate should have experience in high-rise building projects and be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works to ensure timely project completion while meeting quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on site.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate MEP activities with civil, architectural, and structural teams to avoid clashes and delays.
• Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities with consultants and clients.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during construction.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance, quality control (QA/QC), and health and safety requirements.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Support project handover by preparing as-built drawings, operation manuals, and final documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of GCC experience in construction/contracting companies.
• Experience in high-rise building projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, ELV, and Building Services systems.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations, local authority requirements, and international standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
