Documentum Developer (10+ Years) – Dubai, UAE

🧭 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Documentum D2 (Classic & Smart View) applications on the Documentum Content Server platform.
• Develop and customize Documentum workflows, lifecycle processes, and Java-based methods.
• Build enterprise integrations using Documentum REST APIs, D2FS (D2 Foundation Services), DFS (Documentum Foundation Services), and DFC (Documentum Foundation Classes).
• Develop scalable Java/J2EE/Spring-based enterprise applications and RESTful APIs.
• Design and implement document generation solutions using:
• D2-C2
• Aspose
• XSL-FO
• XSLT
• Apache POI
• Develop Microsoft Office and Documentum integrations using D2-O2 and DOCX templates.
• Design and develop external widgets with bi-directional communication using D2 Open Ajax Hub API, D2FS, GWT, and Sencha GXT.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ECM solutions.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and sustainable code while following enterprise development standards.

🎯 Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Documentum development.
• Strong expertise in OpenText Documentum D2 (Classic & Smart View).
• Extensive experience with Documentum versions 23.x through the latest releases .
• Expert knowledge of:
• Documentum Content Server
• DFC
• DFS
• D2FS
• Documentum REST Services
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Deep understanding of Java architecture and enterprise application development.
• Extensive experience with PDF generation and modification using Aspose, D2-C2, XSL-FO, and XSLT.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Word document generation using Apache POI.
• Experience integrating Microsoft Office with Documentum using D2-O2.
• Hands-on experience developing custom D2 widgets using D2 Open Ajax Hub API, GWT, and Sencha GXT.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
