MEP Planning Engineer (4–5 Years UAE/GCC Experience)

We are a leading MEP contracting company in Dubai seeking a competent and results-driven MEP Planning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to support the timely execution of MEP works. The role requires sound expertise in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination to ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual milestones and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, recovery programmes and revised project schedules.
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and planning updates for management, consultants and clients.
• Monitor resource allocation, productivity and project milestones to optimize project performance.
• Assist in the preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and delay analysis, where applicable.
• Review project specifications, contract programmes and construction sequences to support effective planning.
• Maintain accurate planning records, progress data and project documentation.
• Support project management in forecasting project completion dates and identifying potential risks affecting project schedules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant UAE/GCC experience as an MEP Planning Engineer within the MEP contracting and construction industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory; knowledge of Microsoft Project will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in planning and scheduling MEP works for commercial, residential, hospitality or mixed-use developments.
• Strong understanding of MEP construction activities, project sequencing and planning methodologies.
• Experience in progress monitoring, resource planning, delay analysis and project reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other project reporting tools.
• Candidates who can join immediately or on short notice will be given preference.

Compensation: AED 6,000 – 10,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications, experience and demonstrated capabilities.
