Description
For our client, a Dubai-based electronic and electrical components distribution company operating across the UAE and GCC region, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven "Senior Sales Engineer". The company specializes in providing engineering and reliable sourcing solutions directly to the Aerospace, Aviation, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing, Transportation, and Electronic Systems applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical-Electronic Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related engineering disciplines,
- Minimum 5 years of proven track record in technical sales, key account management, or business development within the UAE/GCC electronic components market,
- Deep technical and market knowledge of industrial, defense, and aviation components, including connectors, relays, sensors, RF components, and harness components,
- Proven experience in managing long, complex sales cycles for high-value engineering projects and tenders,
- Advanced ability to analyze complex technical specifications, blueprints, and manage comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) and project RFQs,
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required,
- Must be currently residing and working in Dubai, UAE
- Valid UAE driving license is required, with flexibility to travel across the GCC region as needed,
- Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with a strong commercially-driven mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the strategic point of contact for key accounts, tier-1 suppliers, and major industry stakeholders (such as major aerospace, aviation, and advanced technology entities) in the GCC region,
- Drive regional sales strategies and position the company's premium product lines (such as premium interconnect and RF components) into upcoming project blueprints (spec-in execution),
- Analyze complex technical inquiries, major tenders, and RFQs received from strategic clients to deliver optimal technical and commercial proposals,
- Collaborate directly with international suppliers and partners to provide technical alignment and cross-reference support for critical and harsh-environment projects,
- Lead contract negotiations, ensure high-quality delivery execution with the logistics team, and provide accurate market intelligence and pipeline forecasting to the management team.
