Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate - Mechanical - MEP Rail to join our growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will contribute to the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for rail infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance with local and international regulations.

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Worked on large infrastructure projects in Middle East.
• Capable in the use of REVIT, with the ability to work within a BIM environment to develop the key engineering solution
• Capable in the use of Heat Load Calculations and other software for mechanical design
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems coordination and clash detection
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to organize and manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
• Experience with project management tools and documentation systems
• Preferred: Experience with rail-specific mechanical systems or previous work on metro or railway projects
• Preferred: Knowledge of sustainability and energy-efficient mechanical design practices
