HSE Manager – Plastic Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to lead and manage all Health, Safety, and Environment functions at our plastic manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing best-in-class HSE practices across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and management systems aligned with UAE regulations and international standards (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001)
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections across manufacturing operations
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents — ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are documented and closed
• Ensure compliance with Dubai, Ajman Civil Defense, and OSHAD/ADOSH regulatory requirements
• Lead emergency response planning, mock drills, and BCP coordination
• Manage HSE training programs for all plant employees including induction, toolbox talks, and refresher training
• Liaise with government authorities, external auditors, and certification bodies
• Track and report HSE KPIs, dashboards, and MIS to senior management
• Drive a zero-accident culture through proactive hazard identification and behavioural safety programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
• NEBOSH IGC / NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory)
• Minimum 8–10 years of HSE experience, with at least 4–5 years in a plastic manufacturing or polymer/petrochemical environment
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, JAFZA compliance requirements, and international EHS standards
• Hands-on experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audits
• Proven experience in incident investigation (ICAM / TapRoot methodology preferred)
• Excellent communication, training facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
