Quantity Surveyor

PFC Group is a leading construction company specializing in civil construction, concrete restoration, structural repair, waterproofing, refurbishment and infrastructure projects across the UAE. We are seeking a skilled and commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities Commercial & Quantity Surveying

• Review contracts, BOQs, drawings, specifications and project budgets.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Develop project budget breakdowns and cost-control sheets.
• Carry out site measurements and prepare monthly progress valuations.
• Prepare and submit interim payment applications and supporting documents.
• Identify, prepare, and negotiate variation claims and additional work submissions.
• Maintain variation registers, payment trackers and commercial records.
• Assist in tender review and commercial evaluation of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review subcontractor quotations, measurements and payment applications.
• Prepare subcontract agreements and monitor commercial compliance.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Monitor project costs, commitments, productivity and material consumption.
• Compare actual project costs against approved budgets.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, commercial dashboards and cash-flow forecasts.
• Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.
• Support management with commercial analysis and project profitability reports.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning, Procurement and Cost Control teams.
• Attend site meetings, progress reviews and commercial discussions.
• Maintain proper documentation and contractual correspondence.
• Assist with project commercial close-out and final account settlement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years UAE experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil construction.
• Experience in concrete restoration, structural repair, waterproofing, injection works, jacketing, strengthening, refurbishment or maintenance projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, contracts, quantity take-offs, valuations and variation claims.
• Experience in subcontractor management and commercial administration.
• Excellent understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• UAE driving licence preferred.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
