Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to join our MEP Fit-Out team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documentation for commercial, residential, and fit-out projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of AutoCAD and UAE electrical drafting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, layouts, schematics, and installation drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop drawings for lighting systems, power distribution, low-current systems, fire alarm systems, and other electrical services.
• Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, Site Engineers, and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy.
• Prepare coordinated MEP drawings and resolve clashes before construction.
• Review project specifications, IFC drawings, and tender documents.
• Produce as-built drawings and update revisions as per site requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and project specifications.
• Assist in material take-offs, quantity calculations, and technical submittals.
• Maintain proper drawing records and document control procedures.
• Support project teams during design, execution, and handover stages.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in MEP/Fit-Out projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, MEP coordination, and shop drawing preparation.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and industry standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial, residential, and retail fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Immediate availability to join.
