Junior Art Director

Why this role exists

Justlife is the on-demand home services platform helping people across the UAE & KSA get their time back. Our marketing reaches a fast-growing audience every day, and our creative output now moves faster than our design capacity. We're hiring a Junior Art Director to help us produce high-volume, high-quality work — and to grow into a designer whose taste and ideas shape the brand, not just keep up with it.

You'll report to the Creative Marketing Manager and work as an individual contributor inside a small, skilled team that ships daily. This role moves fast and ships a lot — throughput is a core expectation — but we hire people who treat speed and craft as the same discipline, not a trade-off.

What you'll own

  • Produce a high volume of visual assets across marketing campaigns, CRM, social, performance ads, in-app banners, and brand communication — at speed, without dropping quality or consistency.
  • Take briefs from concept to clean final files: research references, explore directions, design, adapt across formats, and deliver production-ready assets.
  • Use AI tools as a core part of your workflow — research, ideation, image generation, production — to move faster and explore more, without outsourcing your design judgment.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and other teams: understand the brief, ask the right questions, deliver clear visual solutions.
  • Protect brand consistency across every touchpoint. Quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery are non-negotiable.
  • Give and take feedback well, learn fast, and jump in wherever the team needs design help.

  • You handle a significant share of day-to-day marketing design independently, delivering high-quality assets on schedule and consistently fast.
  • You know the Justlife brand inside out and apply it confidently across channels.
  • You use AI tools fluently to increase your speed and range.
  • You communicate clearly with stakeholders across the business.
  • You've started bringing ideas to the table — spotting directions, suggesting references, offering solutions instead of only executing.

  • Turnaround: creative requests move faster because of how you work.
  • Quality: visual consistency holds across all touchpoints, even at speed.
  • Independence: you manage day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Communication: clear, proactive updates with team and stakeholders.
  • Ideas: you contribute creative direction, not just execution.

Must-haves

  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong fundamentals: layout, typography, composition, branding, and visual consistency across a range of work.
  • Strong design eye and an instinct for what "on-brand" and "high-quality" mean in practice.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Comfortable using AI tools for research, ideation, image generation, and workflow speed.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work at volume and pace in a fast-moving marketing environment.
  • Good English: you understand briefs, ask sharp questions, and explain design decisions clearly.
  • 2–4 years of design experience.
  • Proactive, coachable, and fast-learning.
  • Bachelor's degree in design or a related field preferred (a strong portfolio outweighs formal education).

Nice-to-haves

  • Motion graphics or basic animation for social, CRM, and campaign assets.
  • Strong grasp of social formats, trends, and what makes content visually engaging.
  • Video editing, motion templates, or turning statics into animated formats.
  • Genuine interest in marketing, digital campaigns, and pushing creative boundaries with new tools.
