Job Description: AC Technician
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to carry out installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning systems. The AC Technician will support site operations by ensuring all AC units are working properly, safely, and efficiently as per company and client requirements.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
Must have an ITI / Technical Certificate in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC, or related field with 3–5 years of experience in AC maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting. UAE experience is preferred. A UAE driving license is an added advantage, and the candidate should be willing to drive the company vehicle when required for site visits and material collection.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performing all tasks as directed by the Engineer / Team Leader.
- Installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing split AC, window AC, package units, ducted units, and other HVAC systems.
- Inspecting AC units and identifying faults in compressors, motors, thermostats, capacitors, contactors, relays, fans, and electrical components.
- Performing gas charging, leak testing, vacuuming, and pressure testing as required.
- Cleaning filters, coils, drain lines, ducts, blowers, and outdoor units.
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance as per checklist and site requirements.
- Checking electrical wiring, control panels, and connections related to AC systems.
- Assisting in ducting, insulation, copper piping, brazing, and related installation works.
- Ensuring proper cooling performance and reporting major faults to the Team Leader.
- Following all safety rules at site, including wearing safety shoes, PPE, helmet, and other required safety equipment.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.
- Assisting in housekeeping and site support activities when required.
- Driving the company vehicle when required for site visits, material pickup/drop-off, and other work-related assignments.
Work Location: In person
