Sales Engineer (Electrical Background)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background to promote and sell electrical products, lighting solutions, home automation systems, and related services. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong sales skills to develop business opportunities and build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the electrical, lighting, and automation sectors.
• Promote company products and services to contractors, consultants, developers, architects, and end users.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and product presentations.
• Understand project specifications and provide suitable technical solutions.
• Coordinate with the design, estimation, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing and successful project execution.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide excellent customer support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum3 years of sales experience in electrical products, lighting solutions, MEP, home automation, or related industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and products.
• Experience in preparing quotations, technical submittals, and project proposals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Valid UAE Driving License (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the UAE market.
• Existing network with contractors, consultants, developers, and MEP companies.
• Knowledge of lighting, smart home automation, ELV, or low-current systems.
