Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join immediately in EDMAC engineering consultant in Dubai. The role is exclusively focused on high-rise building projects, responsible for electrical system design from concept stage up to IFC stage using BIM and Revit workflows.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience strictly in Dubai within engineering consultancy firms

Strong experience in high-rise building electrical design

Excellent command of Autodesk Revit (electrical modeling and coordination)

Strong experience in:

Electrical load calculations

Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

Power distribution systems

Lighting design and calculations

Earthing and lightning protection systems

Fire alarm and ELV systems coordination

Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations and local authority requirements

Full design cycle experience: Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, and IFC

Ability to coordinate with Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines

Experience in BIM coordination and clash detection

Preferred Skills:

Experience in mega high-rise projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks

Strong technical reporting and submittals preparation

Experience in value engineering and design optimization

Leadership skills in managing electrical design teams
