What you’ll do:

This position is responsible for servicing, maintenance and integration of mechanical components of machines and systems by leveraging technical engineering skillset.

  • Use of Industry 4.0 technologies (e,g, 3D printing, AMR, )
  • Maintaining mechanical components of machines and systems through process engineering and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Carrying-out maintenance work on mechanical and electronic systems, including inspections, cleaning and lubrication using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Problemsolving in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems
  • Maintenance of robot systems and other automated components in existing production processes
  • Problemsolving in robot-controlled production systems, including the associated image processing, drive technology, testing technology, safety technology and other automation technologies
  • Define and improve predictive maintenance planning
  • Carrying-out functional and performance tests on automation systems as well as troubleshooting and initiating / optimizing control programs.
  • Collaboration in the planning and implementation of improvements
  • Collaboration with business partner (tool maker, Engineers and external partners)
  • Support in training of employees Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in preferably mechanical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics or a similar qualification
  • Min 3 years of experience in industrial automation
  • Knowledge of Cam-controlled machines like: Bihler (prefered), Wafios, Finzer Skills:

  • High-speed automatic assembly lines like: Stiwa, PIA, Festo, Omron, B&R, DA Automation

  • Knowledge of mechanical or electrical CAD systems (creo direct), experience in the integration and programming of robot systems (Mitsubishi, Stäubli) and other automated components, knowledge of machine safety, sound knowledge of fault diagnosis and rectification on mechanical, electrical and electronic components, manual dexterity and technical understanding.

  • Experience with Bihler technologies (punching, welding, bending) and system technologies (setting Bihler servo technology and troubleshooting in Bihler systems) as well as experience with STIWA assembly technology and cam-controlled drive systems. What We Offer
