AutoCAD Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and design briefs to gather all structural, material, and technical requirements.
• Prepare accurate technical calculations, dimensions, and detailed shop drawings in accordance with project specifications.
• Develop preliminary sketches and technical layouts for review and approval.
• Produce precise 2D and, where required, 3D drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with company standards and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed production and fabrication drawings for manufacturing and installation.
• Revise and update drawings promptly based on client, consultant, and internal feedback, ensuring all documentation remains current.
• Finalize approved AutoCAD drawings for production and coordinate closely with the design, production, and installation teams.
• Maintain organized project documentation and archive drawings for future reference and future revisions.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, engineers, and factory personnel to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Stay up to date with AutoCAD software, drafting standards, manufacturing techniques, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Diploma in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman.
• Proven experience in kitchen, wardrobe, vanity, and bespoke joinery/interior fit-out drafting is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with other drafting or 3D software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of joinery detailing, production methods, materials, and installation requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate technical and shop drawings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
