Electrical Engineer – Lighting & Home Automation

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in lightingsystems and home automation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, supervising, and commissioning electrical, lighting, and smart home systems for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical, lighting, and home automation systems as per project requirements.
• Prepare electrical shop drawings, layouts, load schedules, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding electrical and automation works.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of lighting control and smart home systems.
• Configure and program home automation systems, including lighting control, HVAC control, curtain control, security integration, and audio/video systems.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, project specifications, and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot electrical and automation system issues.
• Prepare project reports, material take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate project schedules and ensure timely completion of works.
• Provide technical support during project execution and handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, lighting systems, and home automation.
• Strong knowledge of lighting design and control systems.
• Experience with smart home automation platforms such as KNX, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, ABB, HDL, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
• Knowledge of UAE electrical regulations and standards is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in luxury villas, residential, and commercial projects.
• Knowledge of ELV systems, CCTV, access control, intercom, and networking.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
