About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator with a minimum of 4 years of UAE experience in Interior Fit-Out, Construction, or Contracting projects. The successful candidate will assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities to ensure timely completion within budget and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities and site operations.
  • Assist Project Managers in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, logs, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Track project timelines, material deliveries, approvals, inspections, and site activities.
  • Follow up on authority approvals, permits, and NOCs where required.
  • Attend project meetings and prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
  • Monitor procurement activities and ensure timely material submissions and approvals.
  • Maintain records of RFIs, technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports, payment applications, and project close-out documents.
  • Support project teams in resolving coordination issues between various trades.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

RequirementsMandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of UAE experience in Interior Fit-Out, Joinery, Contracting, or Construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project coordination procedures within the UAE construction industry.
  • Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and local authorities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Experience with project tracking and document control systems.
  • Understanding of project scheduling software such as MS Project is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with authority processes including Dubai Municipality, DCD, DEWA, TECOM, Dubai South, JAFZA, or similar authorities is preferred.

  • Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
