Location

Salary Range

8,000.00 AED - 12,000.00 AED

Role Purpose

We are looking for a practical, site-focused Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of electrical works for data center MEP projects.

The role covers electrical containment, cable routing, power distribution interfaces, panels, earthing, bonding, equipment power connections, coordination with HVAC and BMS systems, inspections, testing readiness, site fixes, redlines, documentation, and handover support.

This is not a design-only role. The candidate must be able to read drawings, inspect site works, identify issues, coordinate subcontractors, support inspections, and close problems with proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Site Execution

• Manage daily electrical site activities for data center delivery works.

• Coordinate electrical containment, cable trays, trunking, conduits, panels, DBs, isolators, earthing, bonding, and equipment power connections.

• Ensure installations are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.

• Coordinate electrical works with HVAC, mechanical, BMS, fire alarm, ELV, architectural, civil, and structural works.

• Check routing, segregation, access, support systems, cable bending radius, labeling, clearances, and installation quality.

• Identify site clashes, missing information, wrong installations, access issues, and sequencing problems.

Equipment and Interface Coordination

• Coordinate electrical requirements for HVAC equipment, pumps, control panels, BMS panels, sensors, actuators, and main MEP equipment.

• Verify power availability, isolator locations, containment routes, cable access, earthing points, and control cable interfaces.

• Support equipment installation readiness by confirming electrical access, power connection points, control interfaces, safety clearances, and inspection requirements.

• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and the internal project team.

Drawings, Redlines, and Site Fixes

• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, coordination drawings, single-line diagrams, load schedules, cable schedules, and equipment details.

• Mark up site changes clearly for draftsman update.

• Raise RFIs where drawings are incomplete, conflicting, or not buildable.

• Support preparation of site sketches, redlines, as-built inputs, and technical clarification notes.

• Ensure all site fixes are traceable and properly documented.

QA/QC, Testing, and Handover Support

• Prepare and support WIRs, MIRs, ITPs, checklists, inspection records, and consultant inspections.

• Verify material approvals before installation.

• Support electrical testing activities, including continuity, insulation resistance, earthing, polarity, labeling, torque checks, and pre-energization checks where applicable.

• Track snags, inspection comments, NCRs, and closure actions.

• Support handover documentation, as-built drawings, test records, certificates, O&M manuals, and system completion files.

Reporting and Coordination

• Prepare daily progress reports showing completed works, manpower, materials, blockers, risks, next actions, and photo evidence.

• Attend site coordination meetings and provide clear updates.

• Track open issues and push closure with subcontractors and internal teams.

• Escalate critical risks early, especially where electrical works affect HVAC, BMS, commissioning, energization, or handover.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diplo
